In 1 Kings 17 as the drought continues and the Wadi runs dry Elijah travels to Zarepath to lodge with an impoverished widow and her son. Elijah tells the widow not to fear, her flour and oil will not run dry until the rain returns. In reflecting on this, Rev. Dr. Ken Henry asks, what will you do when your river runs dry? What will you do when you're down and out and God asks us to do something harder? Henry advises us to take a leap of faith and put our lives in Gods hands. Liturgist John Lococo reads from Mark 12:38-44.
